Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Pembenihan Ikan Air Tawar Di Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of a freshwater fish hatchery
Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City. Data were collected using the census
method with numbers respondents were 21 business actors. The research method
used is descriptive analysis non-financial aspects covering market aspects,
technical and production aspects, socio-economic aspects, aspects management
and legal aspects, while quantitative analysis is carried out to analyze aspects
financial such as Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (B / C Ratio),
Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP).
The results showed the financial and non-financial aspects of the aquatic
fish hatchery business bargaining in Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City is
feasible to receive investment / investment business because it can provide benefits.
The results of the analysis on the non-financial aspects, this business has good
market opportunities; strategic business location; family division of duties; have a
good impact on the socio-economy and the surrounding environment; and already
has a business license. The results of the analysis obtained on the financial aspect
show that this effort has met the feasibility measure based on investment criteria.
Which is where the NPV value is Rp. 69.714.387 > 0, the B / C Ratio result is 1.29
> 1, the IRR value is higher than the interest rate used (12%), which is 40,34%
and the results obtained from the calculation of the Payback Period are 2 years or
the 18th production.
Based on the above conclusions, the suggestions that the authors can give
in this study are it is expected that the government and financial / banking
institutions will be willing to help in the form of providing credit / financing, as
well as conducting training and supervision aimed at can expand the business to a
larger scale.
