Pengaruh Budaya Kerja Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Guru Matematika SMP Kota Dumai
This study aims to describe the influence of work culture and work motivation on the commitment of mathematics teachers at SMP Kota Dumai. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study and a survey method with correlational resarch techniques. The research instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire with 77 respondents from 96 Mathematics teachers who were randomly selected as samples using the Slovin formula. The research method was carried out in which the respondents responded to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale consisting of five answer choices, namely always, often, sometimes, rarely, and never. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistics which include normality test, linearity test, multicolonierity test, and heteroscedasticity test.
Based on the data analysis, it is known that the positive influence of work culture variables (X1) on the commitment of mathematics teachers (Y) in junior high school mathematics in Dumai City is 31.20%, while the remaining 68.80% is determined by other factors that are not part of this research; Then, the positive influence of work motivation variable (X2) on teacher commitment (Y) mathematics SMP in Dumai City is 51.10%, while the remaining 48.90% is determined by other factors that are not part of this research; and the positive influence of work culture and work motivation on the commitment of junior high school mathematics teachers in Dumai City is 51.50%, while the remaining 48.50% is determined by other factors that are not part of this study. This research is expected to be useful for improving the commitment of the City of Dumai in carrying out its duties and obligations.
