Pengaruh Nilai Tukar Rupiah Dan Produk Domestik Bruto (Pdb) Negara Asal Wisatawan Terhadap Jumlah Kunjungan Wisatawan Mancanegara Di Indonesia Tahun 2010-2019
This study aims to determine the effect of the exchange rate and GDP per capita of
the country of origin on the number of foreign tourist visits in Indonesia in 2010- 2019.
The independent variables in this study are the rupiah exchange rate and GDP per capita
of the origin country from 2010-2019. The dependent variable used is the number of
foreign tourist visits to Indonesia from 2010-2019.
This study uses secondary data obtained from the publication of the Indonesian
Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and data from the World Bank. This research was
processed using multiple regression model analysis of panel data method.
The results of this study indicate that the exchange rate and GDP per capita of the
country of origin together have an effect on the number of foreign tourist visits in
Indonesia 2010-2019. Partially, the exchange rate and GDP per capita have a significant
influnce on the number of foreign tourist arrival in Indonesia. The value of R2 show the
number 0,776089, which means that the relationship between the dependent and
independent variable can be explained by 77% and and the remaining 23% was
influenced by other variables not included in this research variable. The exchange rate
variable has a significant negative effect on the number of foreign tourist and the GDP
per capita income has a significant positive effect on Indonesia foreign exchange.
