Pengaruh Suku Bunga Bank Indonesia (Bi Rate) Dan Kurs Terhadap Permintaan Surat Perbendaharaan Negara Di Indonesia Tahun 2012 Q1- 2019 Q4
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect and significance of the Bank
Indonesia interest rate (BI rate) and the exchange rate on the demand for treasury bills
(SPN) in Indonesia at 2012 Q1-2019 Q4. The data used in this research is secondary
data which is time series. In this study, the method used as an analysis tool is the
Ordinary Least Square (OLS) to determine changes in the value of the dependent
variable, namely Request for Treasury Bills which is influenced by independent variables,
namely the Bank Indonesia Interest Rate (BI rate) and Exchange Rates using regression
techniques multiple linear. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive,
namely explaining the results of the computerization using the E-Views 10 program.
The results of the analysis show that simultaneously the BI rate and the exchange
rate have a significant effect on the Demand for Treasury Bills in Indonesia 2012 Q1-
2019 Q4. Partially the BI rate has a negative and significant effect on the Demand for
Treasury Bills in Indonesia 2012 Q1-2019 Q4. Exchange rates have a positive and
significant effect on the Demand for Treasury Bills in Indonesia 2012 Q1-2019 Q4.
The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) were carried out to see how
much the proportion of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent
variable. In this case, the value of the determination coefficient used is Adjusted RSquared
which is the coefficient of determination that has been corrected by the number
of variables and the sample size. So it is known that the Adjusted R-Squared value is
0.738159 or 73.82%. This indicates that 73.82% of changes in the demand for State
Treasury Bills in 2012 Q1-2019 Q4 were caused by changes in Bank Indonesia Interest
Rates (BI Rate) and Exchange Rates. While the remaining 26.18% changes in the demand
for State Treasury Bills in 2012 Q1-2019 Q4 were caused by changes in other variables
that were not used in the study.
Keywords: Bank Indonesia Interest Rate (BI Rate), Exchange Rate and State Treasury
