Pengaruh Jumlah Penduduk Dan Tenaga Kerja Terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (Pdrb) Provinsi Riau Tahun 2004-2018

This study aims to determine the effect of population and labor to the Riau
Province PDRB. Using time series data from the population, labor and PDRB of
Riau Province from 2004-2018. This study uses method of multiple regression
analysis method with the help of Eviews 9 application.
The results of this study were obtained that the simultaneous number of
population and labor had a significant effect on the PDRB of Riau Province by
26,21618 with a significant value of 0.000042. While partially the population has
a significant and positive effect on the PDRB of Riau Province with a value of
2.581915 and a probability value of 0.0240. The labor does not have a significant
and positive effect on the PDRB of Riau Province with a value of 0.927670 and a
probability value of 0.3719. R2 value is 0.782718, this means that 78.2718% of
Riau Province's PDRB variable can be explained by the population and labor.
