Strategi Pengembangan Industri Rumah Tangga Dodol Nenas Di Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak

This study aims to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats in developing household pineapple lunkhead in Sungai Apit District, Siak
Regency and to determine the appropriate development strategy for the pineapple
dodol home industry in Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency can compete and
continue to develop.
The method used in this research is quantitative method. The population in
this study were all home industries of pineapple lunkhead in Sungai Apit District,
Siak Regency, which currently has 7 industries. Sampling can use the census
method. So the sample in this study is 7 industries. The analytical tool used in this
research is the SWOT analysis.
The results of this study indicate that the profile of the Home Industry of
Pineapple Lunkhead in Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, there are about 7
business units. The business was established in 2012. The marketing area for the
Pineapple Lunkhead Home Industry is only in Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency.
Overall, based on the results of the research and analysis of the percentage
descriptive data, it can be explained that the condition of the human resources in
the Pineapple Lunkhead Home Industry in Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency is in
bad condition. The condition of the equipment for processing the Home Industry
of Pineapple Lunkhead is inadequate or can be said to be bad. Capital condition
is in good condition. Marketing conditions are in poor condition. Based on the
SWOT analysis, the strategy that can be carried out to empower the Pineapple
Lunkhead Home Industry in Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency is to expand the
market so that the goods are more popular and improve the tools to process
Pineapple Lunkhead appropriately.
