Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Dan Komunikasi Kepemimpinan Terhadap Budaya Organisasi Dan Perubahan Organisasi Karyawan Di Universitas Abdurrab
Communication is one of the most discussed dynamics in all areas of the
organization. The existing literatures have discussed a lot that communication
that takes place in an organization both vertically and horizontally must be easy
to understand and conveyed completely and on target. The dynamics between
leadership styles, communication styles, culture and organizational change are
tested when there is a change in management within an institution. As a campus
that is undergoing organizational and management changes, the authors
appointed Abdurrab University as a research locus on communication,
leadership, and organization.
This paper analyzes the influence of leadership styles and leadership
communication style on organizational culture and employee organizational
changes at Abdurrab University.The theories that the authors apply include: (1)
organizational theory, (2) behavior theory, and (3) social information A survey
using a total purposive sampling method of 183 permanent employees (except for
the main leaders and division leaders) was conducted at Abdurrab University.
The author places leadership style and leadership communication style as
independent or exogenous variables, organizational culture as a mediating
variable, and organizational change as dependent or endogenous variables. Then,
from all path coefficients, only one path is insignificant (Communication Style to
Organizational Change). The results of this study indicate that change is an
important thing for organizations that require adaptation and transformation
where good communication regarding leadership and organization is important
to implement.
