The development of Science and Technology (Science and Technology) and the the globalization have brought changes and created a new paradigm, especially in the world of education. Nowadays the learning process in the era of globalization has experienced significant changes, seen from how the application and innovation and learning models use online models or known as online learning or distance learning. However, the rapid development of technology cannot be separated from teacher communication in conveying and informing students and fellow educators. This study aims to determine the communication patterns of one way, two way and multi way communication online learning teachers in increasing competence (studies in the community teacher deliberation subjects Indonesian Public State Vocational High School (SMKN) Pekanbaru City and the use of media in learning.
This research uses the qualitative approach as methode. Qualitative descriptive data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The source of information in this study was the head of the community and 20 (twenty) community members through focus group discussions (FGD) to achieve data validity, then the researcher used triangulation
.The results of this study indicate that the communication patterns of online learning in indonesia language teacher working group (MGMP) is a one way communication pattern by giving instructions using media, two way communication there is interaction between members in the community, and multi way communication shows how communication intertwined with the use of media to make it more interactive, attractive and have a standard and more efficient in increasing competence
