Model Komunikasi Dalam Pelaksanaan P4gn (Pencegahan, Pemberantasan, Penyalahgunaan Dan Peredaran Gelap Narkotika) Di Provinsi Riau

Along with the development of various groups ranging from adolescents to parents and even early childhood. External cultural influences that often have a negative impact on the community. Such as lifestyle, behavior, manners, faith and so on. The dangers of the abuse and illicit trafficking of narcotics have grown rapidly in Indonesia today especially Riau Province, so it is very worrying for the Indonesian people because the abuse of narcotics has had a negative impact which can result in death. As a concrete step to solve the problem in the illicit trafficking of narcotics, the Riau Islands implementing p4gn to reduce the number of narcotics abuse and illicit trafficking. The communication model is a description of a communication process that shows between one communication component and another, communication model is also an ideal description of what is required for communication to occur. The purpose of this research is to find and analyze the Communication Model in the Implementation of P4GN, know the obstacles and what kind of message and use what media, thus what kind of communication model is implemented by the Riau Province BNN in implementing P4GN.
This research uses qualitative methods by finding and analyzing data, then data collection techniques obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The primary data in this study are the results of interviews with 5 informants, 4 people from each BNN in their respective fields, while 1 other person is the community.
The results of this study explain that the communication model is direct in conveying messages using the media implemented by BNN Riau Province in implementing P4GN to the community, because in fact direct communication is able to provide a significant influence, also how to overcome obstacles by direct communication so that related parties participate participation in combating the abuse and illicit trafficking of narcotics can assist the BNN in suppressing the high level of narcotics use.
