Analisis Pertumbuhan Dan Pergeseran Sektor Ekonomi Di Provinsi Riau Tahun 2010-2019

The decline in economic growth in Riau from 5.57% in 2011 to 2.84% in 2019,
even reached its lowest point in 2015 of 0.22%. GRDP growth cannot be separated from
the role of each of the economic sectors mentioned above. The size of the contribution of
income for each economic sector is the result of sectoral planning carried out in the
regions.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether there has been a sector shift,
and how the impact of a shift in the economic sector on labor absorption in Riau
Province for the period 2010-2019. The analytical tools used in this research are
Location Quation (LQ), Shift Share, Growth Ratio Model (MRP), Overlay Analysis and
Sectoral Typology (Klassen).
The results showed that the economic structure of Riau Province began to shift
from the primary sector to the secondary and tertiary sectors. The absorption of labor in
the agricultural sector is still the highest, in line with the increasing contribution of the
agricultural sector to GRDP. The restaurant and hotel trade sector ranks second in
employment and is followed by other services sectors
