Pembuatan Modular Fixture Untuk Proses Pengelasan

ABSTRACT
Modular a fixture is a system where there are flexible parts that can hold and
hold the workpiece in accordance with the forms of the workpiece in a short time.
This final project aims to assist the production process, especially in the welding
process according to the needs of welding aids in the Mechanical Engineering
Laboratory of UNRI. The modular fixture for this welding process consists of
several component parts, namely the base plate, welding feature, block v, klemp,
and dowel pin. Theframe is modular fixture made of L profile steel with a size of
25 mm x 25 mm, the base plate is made of ST 37 steel with a size of 600 mm x 400
mm x 10 mm, and thecomponents are fixture made of ST 37 steel. include the
process of welding, turning, milling, and digging. After the welding process is
carried out, the results of welding using a modular fixture are more precise than
without using a modular fixture. The function of the components of the modular
fixture is tested by holding the workpiece in the form ofsteel hollow and 3 mm
thick steel pipe for welding at a 90 ° angle. The test results show that the modular
fixture can hold and hold the workpiece at an angle of 90 °.
