Pembuatan Dudukan Motor, Arm Clamp, Cover Dan Instalasi Sistem Tenaga Pendorong Pada Wahana Terbang Hexacopter
ABSTRACT
Multicopter is also called a multirotor because of the number of motorbikes
that are more than one, generally multicopters are used for military needs, mapping
needs and are currently widely used in photography needs. One type of multicopter
is a hexacopter. Hexacopter is one of the unmanned aircraft whose lift is generated
from six motors mounted crosswise, the advantages of a hexacopter are more
playload, the rotation speed of each motor is very good and the hexacopter can still
fly even if one of the motors is off even with limited control. In 2020 Yando, A
conducted research related to the design of a hexacopter flying vehicle where the
results of this study were a hexacopter frame structure with base material made of
carbonfiber, the motor mountings were made of Polylactic Acid (PLA) material and
the arm clamp which was made of acrylic. On Yando's research. A, the output
produced is a hexacopter design and a hexacopter frame prototype without a drive
system / other electronic devices. In addition, this study also has several
shortcomings related to the materials used, such as the arm clamp (acrylic
material) and the motor mounting (PLA plastic material). The arm clamp material
is brittle so there is a risk of failure when the vehicle experiences a hard landing.
In the motor mounting section, the material used has a low melting temperature
value (around 600 Celsius). The mounting part of the motor made of PLA plastic is
prone to failure due to temperature loads generated by the motor. Therefore, in this
study, the development of the Yando A 2020 hexacopter vehicle is carried out. In
the arm clamp, acrylic material will be replaced with aluminum material, while in
the motor mounting section, PLA plastic material will be replaced with ABS plastic
material, a protective cover to protect electronic components from dust either
during flight or stand-by. Furthermore, this research will be continued with the
process of installing the drive system and supporting electronics. After all the
propulsion and electronic system components have been installed, the hexacopter
vehicle will be tested on basic flight to determine the stability of the vehicle while
flying.
