Korelasi Panjang Wajah Dengan Tinggi Badan Berdasarkan Jenis Kelamin Pada Ras Mongoloid Usia 18- 45 Tahun Di Provinsi Riau
Determination of body height is one of parameter needs in forensic identification.
Body height is able to determined by measurement on long bones and some
additional bones because body part’s proportion can represent body height
estimation. Long bones have high accuracy for body height estimation. However,
the long bones is not always found in every forensic cases, so its necessary to
formulate the other bones part that used to count body height estimation just like
cranial bones. Facial length estimation which is part of facial antropometry is one
of parameter used for determined body height if when the identification process
held, only the cranial bones found and there is no other long bones or back bones
that usually used for determinery body height are found in the identification
process. The design of this research is cross sectional, held on 272 respondences
(136 male and 136 female) with ages ranging from 18-45 years old in Riau
Province. Body height measurement performed for getting coefficient corelacy and
linear regreassion formula for facial length to body height based on gender
obtained by using Pearson’s statistic correlation test. The highest coefficient
correlation (r) in male respondent showing middle correlation straight (r = 0,532)
and significant correlation (p < 0,01). The highest coefficient correlation (r) in
female respondent showing middle correlation straight (r = 0, 285) and significant
correlation (p < 0,01).
