Pola Bakteri Aerob Dan Sensitivitas Antibiotik Pada Pasien Karies Gigi Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau

RIZKY HIKMAWAN/ 1608154529 - Nama Orang;

Dental caries is a hard tissue disease caused by bacterial fermentation of
carbohydrates. Dental caries is caused by various bacteria, named
Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus sp, E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, etc.
The treatment of dental caries if caries is advanced and causes infection, is giving
antibiotics. This study aimed to determine the pattern of aerobic bacteria and
bacterial sensitivity in dental caries in Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province.
The sample was cultured dental caries tissue, identified in Medical Faculty
Laboratory of Riau University. Data was displayed in the form of a frequency
distribution table and expressed as a percentage. The result was that the bacterial
pattern in dental caries was Gram-negative bacteria as much as 50% with the
highest frequency is E. coli 31%. 50% of Gram-positive bacteria with the highest
frequency was Staphylococcus aureus at 27%. The results of the research on the
characteristics of most dental caries patients based on gender were 66.67%
women, 17-25 age group was 26.67%, 26-35 age group was 26.67%, highest
occupations rate of the housewife was 26.66%, the student is 26.66 %, the latest
education of high school was 50%, the sensitivity test for Gram-negative bacteria
had a high sensitivity to Levofloxacin 92% and Ceftazidim 84%, while Grampositive
bacteria had a high sensitivity to Levofloxacin 92.30%, Linezolid 69.23%.
The conclusion of the population characteristics of the most incidence of dental
caries was at the age of 26-45, 46-55 years, in women, more in students, and at
high school education, the pattern of bacteria in dental caries patients for Gramnegative
was E. coli while Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus, the highest
antibiotic sensitivity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria was the
antibiotic Levofloxacin.
