Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kepatuhan Konsumsi Obat Antihipertensi Pada Pasien Hipertensi Di Puskesmas Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru Tahun 2019
Puskesmas Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru was the primary health care with the highest
prevalence of hypertension (10,7%) in Pekanbaru City based on 2017 report.
Prevalence of hypertension affected by the adherence to the consumption of
antihypertensive drugs. Adherence to the consumption of antihypertensive drugs is
very important in maintaining blood pressure under control. The purpose of this
study was to analyze the factors that affect adherence of antihypertensive drugs
consumption in hypertensive patients at Puskesmas Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru in
2019. This study was an analytical study with a cross-sectional design and a
purposive sampling with 56 respondents. The data were taken from the
questionnaire about the level of adherence, level of knowledge, level of motivation,
family support, the role of health workers, type of therapy, and duration of therapy
using Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8 and analyzed using chi-square test.
Based on this study as many as 30 (53,6%) respondents had high compliance. The
chi-square test showed that there was a significant correlation between the level of
knowledge, level of motivation, and family support with medication adherence
(p0,05). In
conclusion, adherence to taking antihypertensive drugs is influenced by factors of
level of knowledge, level of motivation, and family support.
