Profil Pemeriksaan Mayat Korban Kekerasan Tajam Di Provinsi Riau Periode 2015-2019

Death caused by sharp violence is a serious problem. This case must receive
special treatment, namely by examining the inside and outside of the corpse body.
This study aim to describe the profile of sharp force medicolegal autopsy in Riau
Province from 2015 to 2019. The data was obtained from medicolegal autopsy
reports that belongs to Riau Regional Police on medicine and health. The research
obtained 77 samples out of 393 cases which were divided into 8 outside examinations
and 69 inside examinations. With the number of cases in 2015 as much as 18.2% (n =
14), in 2016 as much as 19.5% (n = 15), in 2017 as much as 11.7% (n = 9), in 2018
as much as 26% ( n = 20), in 2019 as much as 24.7% (n = 24). The characteristics of
the death victims were dominated by men (71.4%), with age ranged from 20 to 29
years (27.3%). incised wound (76.6%) is most common type of wound on victims’s
body and most located on the chest (76.6%) and on the head (75.3%) .the results
show that most leading cause of death are sharp force 59.7% (n=46). All cases are
classified as unnatural deaths. Our study found that the most common police
investigator that request for medicolegal autopsies reports are from pekanbaru city
31.2% (n=24).
