Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja Dan Kepemimpinan Terhadap Motivasi Dan Kinerja Karyawan Di PT Swadaya Abdi Mangunggal, Pekanbaru
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline and leadership on employee performance with motivation as an intervening variable. The population in this study were employees at PT SAM in the SHR Minas project.
The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling with the Slovin method in order to obtain a total sample of 155 respondents. Data analysis used path analysis with the help of the SPSS.
The results showed that work discipline has an effect on motivation. Leadership affects motivation. Motivation affects performance. Leadership affects performance. Work discipline affects performance. Work discipline affects performance through motivation. Leadership affects performance through motivation. Management of PT SAM leadership is expected to further improve the quality of leadership by involving heads of departments and staff in various soft skills training such as training in decision-making techniques, techniques for understanding employee characteristics, traits and behavior. Increasing employee motivation should be further enhanced by giving awards according to work performance. To motivate employees who have a high level of work discipline, it is necessary to consider giving awards. The form of reward can be in the form of soft skill training or giving incentives.
