Analisis Determinasi Produktivitas Tenaga Kerja Kasar Pada Sektor Transportasi Dan Pergudangan Di Kota Pekanbaru
The activities of the transportation and warehousing sector are one of the most popular business activities, especially in big cities such as Pekanbaru City, where basically the mobility of goods and services and even humans is in need of very fast movement. The greater the opportunity in a business activity so that it can also encourage an increasing demand for labor in that sector. This can be seen from the absorption of labor in the transportation and warehousing sectors of Pekanbaru City, which has the largest number compared to other regions
This research is a quantitative research. The technique used in determining the sample is Non Probability Sampling, where this technique limits or does not give the same rights to all populations to become samples, but the sample is selected by the researcher according to the research needs. The sample collection method used is snowball sampling. The data analysis method is a method to obtain proper understanding and understanding of an object through describing the parts, observing and examining the related linkages between the formed integral conception. In order to see the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable, the multiple regression model analysis method uses the simple least squares analysis technique (OLS).
The results of this study indicate that service prices have a significant negative effect on the productivity of manual labor in the transportation and warehousing sectors in Pekanbaru City, which means that an increase in service prices will encourage a decrease in the productivity of manual labor in the transportation and warehousing sectors in Pekanbaru City. The number of dependents has a significant positive effect on the productivity of manual labor in the transportation and warehousing sectors of Pekanbaru City, which means that an increase in the number of dependents will encourage additional productivity of manual labor in the transportation and warehousing sectors of Pekanbaru City. Age does not have a significant negative effect on the productivity of manual labor in the transportation and warehousing sectors in Pekanbaru City, which means that age has not been able to explain changes in the productivity of manual labor in the transportation and warehousing sectors of Pekanbaru City. The number of dependents is the factor that has the greatest influence on the productivity of manual labor in the transportation and warehousing sector in Pekanbaru City, this is because the coefficient value of the number of dependents variable is higher than other variables. The implementation of policies from the government for the productivity of unskilled employees in the transportation and warehousing sectors of Pekanbaru City does not currently exist, but there are associations covering manual labor in the transportation and warehousing sectors in Pekanbaru City.
