Abstract
This study aims to determine the use of village funds in poverty reduction at Petapahan
Village and Pantai Cermin Village Tapung District Kampar Regency.
This study uses secondary data, namely data on the allocation of village funds in
Petapahan and Pantai Cermin Village and Poverty Data in Petapahan Village and Pantai
Cermin Village. The data analysis technique is carried out by using qualitative descriptive
analysis, where this research will describe and interpret an object or phenomenon in accordance
with existing facts and this research uses Village Fund figures and in the village fund realization
budget report.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that the use of village funds in Petapahan
Village and Pntai Cermin Village was carried out in the field of development and empowerment.
Village funds that are used for village development consist of construction / rehabilitation of
environmental facilities and infrastructure, construction / rehabilitation of transportation
facilities and infrastructure, construction / rehabilitation of sports facilities and infrastructure,
construction / rehabilitation of educational facilities and infrastructure, construction /
rehabilitation of health facilities and infrastructure and development. / rehabilitation of
economic facilities and infrastructure. And the distribution of village funds used for village
empowerment consists of community empowerment, namely through training of farmers and
fishermen as well as training for cocoa farmer groups, empowerment in the economic sector,
namely empowering BUMDesa, namely activities to include capital into BUMDesa. The use of
village funds in poverty alleviation is to involve the community as workers in village
development projects. In addition, the participation of the community will certainly receive
remuneration in the form of wages which will then become a source of income for the poor so
that it will encourage people to move out of the poverty line.
