Analisis Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor Produksi Pada Industri Kerajinan Ukiran Kayu Di Kota Pekanbaru

This research purposed for analyze technical efficiency, price efficiency and economic efficiency of the wood carving craft industry in the city of Pekanbaru. The data used are secondary and primary data. This secondary data was sourced from the Department of Industry and Trade of the City of Pekanbaru, while the primary data was obtained from as questionaire conducted through interviews with 10 respondents for the last three years (2018-2020) of the wood carving craft industry in the City of Pekanbaru.
This research used descriptive quantitative methods through the analysis of cobb-douglass production function with the application of stochastic frontier production function and return to scale.The sampling technique used in this study was the cencus method, where all populations were sampled, the samples used in this study were 10 units industrial wood carving craft. Data processing using Eviews application version 9. the variables used are capital and labor in the wood carving craft industry in Pekanbaru City.
The result showed that the variables capital and labor had a significant effect on wood carving craft industry production. Technical efficiency is 0.99963433, price efficiency is 71.516029, and economic efficiency is 71.489878. This means that the wood carving craft industry is not yet technically, price, dan economic efficient, so it is necessary to reduce capital dan increase labor. While the Return To Scale value is 1.002601, it means that the wood carving craft industry in Pekanbaru City is exsperiences a increasing return to scale. With an economic efficiency value greater than wan means that the efficiency of the use of production factors has not been achieved. This means that if capital and labor are increased by 10%, then output will increase by 10%.
