Pengaruh Bi Rate, Inflasi, Dan Pengeluaran Pemerintah Terhadap Jumlah Uang Beredar Di Indonesia Periode 2000 - 2018
The money supply is generally known to the public in the form of M1 and M2. In M1 consisting of currency and demand deposits, while M2 consisting of all M1 was added to quasi money and securities other than shares. M1 and M2 money supply always increases every year but with relatively stable and controlled increases. The development of the money supply in Indonesia continues to increase. This study aims to determine the effect of the BI Rate, inflation, and government spending on the money supply in Indonesia in 2000-2018.
The data used in this study are time series data from 2000 to 2018 sourced from Bank Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative with data sourced from secondary data. The variables of this study are the rupiah exchange rate with the money supply (Y), bi rate (X1), inflation (X2), government spending (X3). The data collection method is documentation. The method of analysis uses multiple regression.
The results of this study indicate that partially the bi rate (X1) and inflation (X2) variables have no positive and significant effect on the money supply. While the government expenditure variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the money supply.
