Analisis Pengaruh Teledensitas Seluler, Investasi Telekomunikasi Dan Jumlah Penduduk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Di Indonesia Tahun 2009 - 2019

The economy of a region basically cannot be separated from the infrastructure
system which is a system of economic levers. This is due to the nature of infrastructure
which has a direct effect on the economy. Infrastructure itself can be regarded as a
physical asset that is created with the aim of increasing efficiency and lowering the costs
of economic activities that occur.
The rate of economic growth is actually fluctuating. Where the condition of the
economic growth rate decreased in certain years and then increased again, in 2015 it can
be seen that cellular teledansity has increased but in 2015 the condition of economic
growth has decreased. Meanwhile, according to the theory of increasing teledance, it will
actually encourage economic growth. An increase in the amount of investment will
certainly encourage an increase in economic growth, but in 2015 where
telecommunication investment increased compared to the previous year, the different
thing was seen in the economic growth which actually decreased. in 2017 although the
population increased but economic growth actually decreased, the same thing was also
seen in 2019. The data analysis method was carried out using the multiple linear
regression analysis method.
Based on the results of the study, it is known that Cellular Teledensity does not
have a significant positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia in 2009 – 2019, which
means that changes in cellular teledensity in Indonesia have not been able to explain
changes in economic growth. Telecommunication investment has a significant positive
effect on economic growth in Indonesia in 2009 - 2019, which means that changes or
conditions of investment in telecommunications can explain changes in economic growth.
The increasing number of telecommunication investments disbursed will encourage
increased economic growth in Indonesia. The population has a significant negative effect
on economic growth in Indonesia in 2009 - 2019, while the relationship between
population growth and economic growth is negative, which means that the increasing
percentage of the population will encourage a decrease in economic growth in Indonesia.
