ABSTRACT
Selais Indrapura is a prototype ship designed by the Riau University team. Using
a mono hull type hull, this Indrapura was made to take part in the 2020 National
Unmanned Fast Boat Contest (KKCTBN) which was held by the Directorate
General of Learning and Student Affairs and the Ministry of Tekdikti of the
Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the University of Muhammadiyah
Malang. This ship uses an Electric Remote Control (ERC) system and is able to
move remotely using a remote control equipped with an electric motor that is
connected to the control system and headware components to help make circular
movements and other movements to meet the requirements of the race. The ship's
body hull design uses Maxsurf and Autocad software so that the design made can
answer global challenges in inter-island relief and evacuation of covid 19 victims.
Making prototype ship propulsion system, as well as optimization in navigation.
So that in making the ship prototype carried out from selecting the type of body
hull, making body hull, and making ship decks as well as assembling the electric
system and ship headware in completing the maneuvering test and speed mission.
