ABSTRACT
In this final project, an electric water bike has been made that can be used as a
means of playing or entertainment. It is an innovation from a bicycle vehicle, on a
water bicycle it is necessary to transmission and steering. Besides that in Alam
Mayang Pekanbaru tour no one has made a water bike that uses an electric
controller. The transmission and steering components of an electric water bike are
driven, pinion, propeller shaft, chain, sprocket, fin, steering axle, and handlebars.
In the manufacture of transmission and steering for the process using machining
processes such as lathe and milling processes to make bevel gears and propeller
shafts. In the manufacture of gears using a ratio of 2:1. In the test results, the motor
used has a power specification of 250 watts with a rotation speed of 3300 rpm. In
the speed experiment, it is known that the average speed of the water bike is 0.48
m/s, and the turning radius of the steering wheel is 3.5 m.
