Kaji Komparasi Pembangkit Listrik Berbasis Termoelektrik Generator (Teg) Memanfaatkan Penyerapan Panas Jalan Beton Dan Aspal Menggunakan Tiga Buah Variasi Bentuk Pelat Tembaga
ABSTRACT
Energy is a necessity for humans. One of the energies that we encounter a lot is heat
energy. Solar radiation heat energy is the most abundant energy that propagates
throughout the earth's surface and is absorbed or stored in various objects on the
earth's surface. In this study, the use of solar energy stored on the asphalt surface of
concrete and asphalt roads to be converted into the form of electrical energy. A
thermoelectric generator is an electrical generator device that converts heat
(temperature difference) directly into electrical energy, using a phenomenon called
the Seebeck effect. This research was carried out by utilizing the absorption of solar
radiation heat on a concrete road with cast concrete type III with K 450 and asphalt
type AC-WC as a thermoelectric generator that was placed on a medium with
dimensions (550 x 300 x 100) mm. This research uses 3 thermoelectric generator
modules of the SP 1848 type which are arranged in series, in the cooling system a
heatsink is placed. In this study, two variables of asphalt and concrete were used
and each of them had three variations of L, I, and Z heat-conducting plates. The test
results showed that asphalt had greater energy than concrete. Plate L being the best
plate in asphalt roads and plate I being the best in concrete roads. This research
allows it to be developed to become a reference source of the latest alternative
energy.
