Hubungan Kadar Hba1c Dengan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Dm Tipe 2 Peserta Prolanis Puskesmas Rejosari Pekanbaru 2020
Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder due to persistent hyperglycemia that
can cause microvascular and macrovascular damage. This persistent
hyperglycemia condition can have an impact on the quality of life. The purpose of
this study was to determine the relationship between HbA1c levels and quality of
life of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus participants in Rejosari Public Health
Center Pekanbaru.This research was an analytical study with a cross sectional
approach. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling method with 24
respondents. The primary data is used for the form of laboratory tests of HbA1c
levels and interviews using the SF-36v2 questionnaire to measure the quality of
life. Statistical test using Fisher Exact Test.The results of the study that were
obtained from 24 samples is about 11 people (52.4%) had an uncontrolled HbA1c
with a poor quality of life. There was no significant difference in the proportion
between the normal HbA1c level group and the high HbA1c level group towards
quality of life (p = 0.223).
