Gambaran Karsinoma Adrenal Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Periode 1 Januari 2015 – 31 Desember 2020

Adrenal carcinoma is a rare epithelial malignancy of the adrenals that can occur
in the adrenal cortex and adrenal medulla. Adrenal carcinoma can include
functional adrenal carcinoma and non-functional carcinoma. Clinical symptoms
that arise can include hypertension, palpable mass, and low back pain. The
purpose of this study was to determine the description of adrenal carcinoma at
Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru for the period of 1 January 2015-31
December 2020. The research design used was a retrospective descriptive
approach whose data were obtained from secondary data by searching for
medical records. The research sample was taken based on thetotal sampling
method, which took all patients with adrenal carcinoma during the study period.
We obtained 3 study subjects with more female cases than men. The
histopathological examination of adrenal carcinoma sufferers is adrenocortical
carcinoma, andthe most widely used radiological examination is the Abdomen CT
Scan. All cases of adrenal carcinoma underwent radical adrenalectomy.
