Human development as described in the Human Development Index (HDI) is one form of planning in development. The development of the times is very rapid, making it a challenge in terms of development. Increasing human capabilities is a form of strategy in increasing the potential of the nation through improving human quality. Improving the quality of education, health and infrastructure is a form of state investment in increasing the potential of its resources.
The expected objective of the research is to analyze the effect of spending on education, spending on health and road infrastructure on the human development index (IPM) in Riau Province. This research was conducted in Riau Province, as for the thing that supports the selection of this research location is the highest human development index (HDI) of Riau province on the island of Sumatra. (Ordinary Least Square(OLS) with the help of the Eviews 10 app.
Based on the results of research conducted, namely spending on education, spending on health and road infrastructure simultaneously or together affect the Human Development Index (IPM) of Riau Province. In addition, partially it can be seen that the influence of education expenditure has a significant positive effect on the Human Development Index (IPM) of Riau Province, health expenditure has a significant positive effect on the Human Development Index (IPM) of Riau Province and infrastructure has a significant positive effect on the Human Development Index (IPM). ) Riau Province.
