ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of women rice farmers in
Kampar sub-district as seen from the age level, education level, husband's income,
land area, land ownership status, distance and number of family dependents. This
study used the Slovin technique and simple random sampling, so 100 samples were
selected. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive method. The
results of this study indicate that the variables of age, land area, land ownership
status, and husband's income affect women rice farmers in Kampar District, Kampar
Regency, Riau Province.
