The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the roles of KUD
Karya Maju and BUMKam Mawar Abadi. in improving the economy of the
community in Dayun District, Siak Regency. In this study, the population used is
the number of families in Brumbung Baru Village totaling 561 KK and Lubun
Tilan Village 329 KK. In this study the authors took 10% of the population. So
that the samples in this study were: Berumbung Baru Village, 56 families, Lubuk
Tilan Village, 33 families. The types of data used are primary and secondary data.
Methods of collecting data with a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is
descriptive analysis and Independent Sample t test.The results showed that KUD
Karya Maju and BUMKam Mawar Abadi played a significant role in improving
the economy of the community in Dayun District. These roles include increasing
people's income, increasing community empowerment, and improving community
social welfare. The role of KUD Karya Maju and BUMKam Mawar Abadi in
improving the economy of the community in Dayun District is not significantly
different, this is because KUD and BUMKam on average have the same role.
