CD Tugas Akhir
Pembuatan Sistem Kemudi Dan Sistem Pengereman Pada Mobil Listrik Formula Student Parameswara Team
ABSTRACT
This final project is motivated by the problem of the increasingly expensive price
of fuel oil (BBM), also the availability of reserves that are increasingly difficult to
control, and environmental problems due to pollution. This triggers the
development of the use of electrical energy in the transportation system as a
substitute for fossil fuels. Therefore, this final project aims to create a steering
system and braking system on a student formula electric car that can be applied to
the KMLI (Indonesian Electric Car Contest) event at the Bandung State
Polytechnic, with this competition it is expected to increase public awareness of
environmental cleanliness. and is also expected to motivate students in increasing
creativity, innovation, and competitive spirit. In this final project, the steering
system and braking system of the Formula Student electric car are made
according to the designs produced by the design division of the Parameswara
Team. Some steering system components and braking system components are
manufactured and some are purchased. Furthermore, all existing components are
assembled into a single unit so that the steering system and braking system are
obtained on the student formula electric car. The results of this final project show
that: The manufacture of a steering system and braking system on a student
formula electric car has been made based on technical drawings that have been
provided by the design section of the Parameswara Team. The steering knuckle
fabrication is made with Ackerman geometry, namely True Ackerman. This
geometry produces the same center circle so the tires do not slip and can turn
smoothly. The manufacture of an ergonomic driver's seat mounting bracket has
been made in accordance with the regulations of the Formula Society of
Automotive Engineers (FSAE). Also the pedal box has been made with a mounting
bracket that has rails, so it can be adjusted far and near according to the length
of the driver's foot.
