Pengukuran Massa Tandan Buah Segar Kelapa Sawit Menggunakan Metode Pencitraan
Mass is one of the important quantities in the process of sorting oil palm
fresh fruit bunches (FFB). Computer vision method is a non-destructive method
for measuring volume and mass. This study aims to build a computer vision
system to determine the volume of oil palm FFB and to use it in mass. The results
of the volume measurement will be compared with manuall measurement the
results of water displacement method. The measurement results of the predicted
mass will be compared with manual and digital mass measurement. Cross line
laser applied in a computer vision system to obtain the contours of the FFB. The
laser position was placeded 4 cm from the camera with a everage distance
between the camera and the object about 87 cm. Manual method measured the
diameters of the major axis, median, and minor axis. The pixel conversion of the
system is 14.278 pixels to cm3 was is done using a sphere. The comparison of
mass measurement using computer vision and manuall method shows an average
difference of 0.315 x 103 grams with the regression value of 0.973. Comparison
with digital measurement using load cell and the computer vision method shows
an average difference of 0.360 x 103 grams with a regression value of 0.971.
