Diferensiasi Leukosit Ikan Mas (Cyprinus Carpio) Yang Diberi Pakan Mengandung Vaksin Hydrovac
Carp (Cyprinus carpio) is a type of freshwater fish that is widely consumed. One
type of disease that is often found in cultured fish, especially freshwater is a
bacterial disease caused by Aeromonas hydrophila. Disease control should be
done by giving vaccines to increase fish immunity. The purpose of this study was
to find the best dose of adding Hydrovac vaccine to the feed for leukocyte
differentiation of carp (Cyprinus caprio). The study was conducted from February
to May 2021. The method used was a one-factor Completely Randomized Design
(CRD) with 4 treatment levels and 3 replications. The treatments applied were P0:
Feeding without the Hydrovac vaccine, while P1, P2, and P3: Giving Hydrovac
vaccine with doses of 3, 4, and 5 mL/Kg of fish feed, respectively. Administration
of hydrovac vaccine at a dose of 5 ml/kg fish feed is the best dose to improve fish
health, which is characterized by total leukocytes 9.10 x104 cells/mm3,
lymphocytes 61.3%, neutrophils 9.66%, monocytes 7.66%, Relative Protection
(RPS) 66.67, Life Pass 97.33% and absolute weight growth 5.54g. Reservoir
water quality during the study ranged from temperature 26 - 300C, DO 4.4 - 6.8
mg/L, pH 6 -7 and NH3 0.02 - 0.06 mg/L.
