Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Cofee Shop Corner Cofee Di Kecamatan Tampan
ABSTRACT
This study aims to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats of the Coffee Shop Corner Coffee business. And know the business
development strategy of the Coffee Shop Corner Coffee in the District. The
sampling method used is purposive sampling. Purposive technique occurs when
the researcher selects a sample based on several criteria (Cooper and Schindler,
2006). The respondents who were selected were 5 experts from 2 internal people
and 3 external people from Corner Coffee. This study uses the SWOT analysis
method. The results of this study, the evaluation of internal factors using the IFAS
matrix resulted in a total score of 2.656 on a strength factor of 1.966 and a
weakness factor of 0.960 which means that the Coffee Shop Corner Coffee
business in Tampan District is able to optimize its strengths, namely good
relations between leaders and employees, good product quality. good, competitive
product prices, and sufficient capacity to cover the weaknesses that exist in the
business unit. The results of the evaluation of the EFAS matrix show that the
overall score for the opportunity factor is 1.202 and the threat factor is 0.984 with
an overall score for external factors of 2.188. Which means that the total score
obtained is below the average 2.5, this shows that Corner Coffee has not been
optimal in taking advantage of opportunities such as technological developments,
public interest, population growth. seen from the results of the Cartesian diagram
the Coffee Shop Corner Coffee business development strategy is in square B,
namely quadra B, the factors that are considered important, successfully
implemented and must be maintained.
