Pengaruh Pupuk Kandang Ayam Dan Kalium Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus L. Moench)
ABSTRACT
Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench.) is a vegetable commodity that has a fairly high nutritional content that is beneficial for health. Every 100 g of young okra contains 33 calories, 7 g carbohydrates, 3.2 fiber and 81 mg calcium. Inceptisol soil with its problems through good management can be utilized in okra cultivation. Efforts that can be made to overcome the problem of low fertility levels in Inceptisol soils are fertilization. One of the fertilizers used is chicken manure and potassium fertilizer. This research was carried out experimentally with 4x3 factorials arranged according to RAL. The first factor is the dose of chicken manure: K0 : without chicken manure, A1 : 10 ton.ha, A2 : 20 ton.ha, A3: 20 ton.ha. The second factor is the dose of potassium fertilizer: K0 : without potassium fertilizer, K1 : 75 kg.ha, K2 : 150 kg.ha. The results showed that the application of chicken manure had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, fruit length, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per plot and number of fruit per plot. While the application of potassium fertilizer significantly affected the parameters of plant height, fruit length, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per plot and number of fruit per plot. Giving chicken manure 30 ton.ha and potassium fertilizer at a dose of 150 kg.ha can give the best results on the growth and yield of okra plants.
