Analisis Kinematika Lengan Excavator Skala Laboratorium
ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the kinematics of a laboratory-scale excavator arm using manual calculation methods. The analysis includes determining the Degrees of Freedom (DOF), position, velocity, and acceleration of the boom, arm, and bucket mechanisms. The results show that the excavator arm mechanism has 3 DOF. In position analysis, the widest range is found at Point H for the boom mechanism, Point L for the arm, and Point M for the bucket. The highest velocity in the boom mechanism occurs at Point H (273 mm/s) and the lowest at Point D (90.6 mm/s), while the highest velocity in the arm mechanism is recorded at Point L (123.2 mm/s) and the lowest at Point G (23.5 mm/s). For the bucket mechanism, the maximum velocity is at Point M (94.7 mm/s) and the minimum at Point N (12 mm/s). Acceleration analysis reveals the maximum acceleration at Point H (491 mm/s²) and the minimum at Point C (42.4 mm/s²) for the boom mechanism, and the highest acceleration in the arm mechanism at Point L (29.3 mm/s²) and the lowest at Point αE (3.9 mm/s²), and the highest acceleration in the bucket at Point M (32.08 mm/s²) and the lowest at Point J (3.06 mm/s²).
