Analisis Industri Produk Roti Dan Kue Di Kota Pekanbaru (Pendekatan Structure-Conduct-Performance)
The demand for bakery and cakes continues to increase and it causing the arises
of new companies in the bakery and cake product industry every year in Pekanbaru. this
is also makes the level of competition even tighter so that it affects the shape of the
market structure. Based on the Structure-Conduct-Performance (SCP) paradigm,
companies must perform various conducts in influencing the industry's performance.
This study aims to see how the market structure and the influence of structure
and conduct on the performance of the bakery and cake product industry in Pekanbaru.
The data used are primary data obtained from 26 business men through interview tools
and questionnaires. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling and the
method of analysis used is the regression multiplier analyst with Ordinary Least Square
(OLS) method with E-views 11 Market structure is proxied by the Market Share (MS),
Conduct is proxied by the Capital to Labor Ratio (CLR) and performance is proxied by
Price Cost Margin (PCM).
The results showed that the bakery and cake product industry in Pekanbaru was
classified as a monopolistic competition market with a CR4 value of 29% and an IHH of
496,0832. The results of the regression analysis show that market structure and conduct
have a positive and significant effect on market performance with R2 of 0.735558.
